Now the diode lasers have been used in wild human clinical application popularly , the practice and education also have been the driving force promoting the growth of laser use in veterinary medicine . During the past few years, however diode lasers have virtually replaces Nd:yag lasers or CO2 lasers for fiber directed laser surgery because of their smaller size, increased versatility and decreased maintenance requirements. The 810nm or 980nm wavelength of diode lasers not only are primarily used for ablative surgery or vaporization , but also for coagulation or therapy .

GIGAA supply VeLas™ serials medical diode lasers from 15W to 60W with different wavelength , which have been used in many human clinical application in the world. Cooperated with the famous veterinary laser company Asuka Laser Systems, GIGAA will promote the veterinary application and expand the big market.

Tumor in an exotic animal

Prairie dog 4years old.
Bear fiber or Conditioned fiber / continuous mode / 4W .
The prairie dog showed respiratory insufficiency. Examination found odontoma.
Fenestration was performed on the top of the muzzle. Firstly the skin was dissected in a circle. Bleeding from the bottom of the foramen was controlled by noncontact laser shooting. Respiration became smooth after operation. Periodical coaguration of growing granuloma.

Facial abscess in a rabit

Rabbit / Female / 2 years old
Conditioned fiber / continuous mode / 5W
Purulent discharge was found from a granuloma on the cheek of a rabbit.
The abscess was dissected and ICG was injected in the hole of wound. Non-contact laser shot was repeated up to coagulate whole tissue of the abscess. When it was taken to us 17days after operation, the skin regenerated and hair came out partially. Recurrence rate is high in the abscess of the rabbit. We succeeded in this case.Veterinary clinical case

Canine Elongated Soft Plate

Papillon Male 5years old.
Pomeranian Female 6years old.
Scalpel / continuous mode / 8W.
Resection of an elongated soft plate in a
dog has been operated by an electriccautery.
Sever spasm by an electric cautery made it difficult to resect the soft plate precisely.
Diode laser can get rid of such anxiety and adjust the cutting line delicately as it was supposed. No bleeding caused while in the operation, so it led to decrease in the operation time definitely.Veterinary clinical caseVeterinary clinical caseVeterinary clinical case
